Introduction:

Strength testing refers to the process of determining the ability of a material or structure to withstand forces without failure.

As one aspect of structural testing, it is used to observe and study the mechanical behavior and resistance to failure of aircraft structures or components under thermal conditions. Thermal strength testing requires creating an environment on the ground that simulates the equivalent thermal and load conditions of actual flight processes.
